Caribbean Weekly Wrap Up

March is my favorite month of the year, but it's not without its faults. March means Spring Break and my home stretch of sand, Ft. Myers Beach, can be overwhelmed by thousands of drunken college kids. While the people watching is amazing, I much prefer a quiet stretch of sand. You'll find plenty of those in this week's Weekly Wrap Up. Caribbean Weekly Wrap Up St Lucia’s Rodney Bay: “Floating, … [Read more...]

If you're reading this then chances are that escape involves blue water and white sand. Then again, I know we all can't get to the beach and if we can it might be freezing. Winter sucks. While your sipping your rum drink this weekend, soak up the Caribbean vibe with … [Read more...]

Caribbean Weekly Wrap Up

There is a great collection of stories in this week's Caribbean Wrap Up. The most interesting story in my opinion is the inter-island Caribbean ferry story by Caribbean Journal. I couldn't agree more that a ferry system similar to what they have in the Greek islands is needed for the Caribbean. Air travel through the Caribbean with LIAT is a headache on a good day. Enjoy and … [Read more...]

Caribbean Weekly Wrap Up

I've found myself day dreaming about the islands a lot lately. They are always top-of-mind, but the last couple days my salty mind has been awash in blue water and island time. Maybe because March was my last trip to el Carib, maybe because next week is the Castaway Beach Bash, either way withdrawals are setting in. All I know is this Week's Caribbean Wrap Up is full of amazing island stories that … [Read more...]
