Castaway Winter Beach Bash Itinerary

I just looked at the long range forecast for St. Thomas, daytime temps in the low 80′s with sunny skies. The Castaway Winter Beach Bash will be a true escape from the snow and freezing temperatures some of you are dealing with right now.

7 days and counting!

The itinerary for the beach bash is ready. It’s packed with beachside activities like sailing lessons, rum tastings, paddle board lessons and of course the art of doing nothing at all. Also on the schedule are sailing trips to St. John, swimming with sea turtles and a sunset cruise. Toss in live music every night at Iggies Beach Bar, which is located at Bolongo Bay Resort, and you have a recipe for a grand time. (See itinerary below)

By no means do you have to take part in every activity. I have a feeling a lot of time is going to be spent just watching the Caribbean waves roll ashore while condensation drips from our rum drinks.

Don’t forget, we have a special cocktail being made just for us. The Castaway. Originally called the Bruised Banana, it was selected as the winning cocktail for the beach bash and therefore renamed to The Castaway.
